Welcome to the Rex Players

 

We are an amateur theatrical group staging regular variety shows at the Rex Cinema in Wareham, as our contribution to local community life. All proceeds from our shows are distributed to worthwhile local causes. We provide a platform for local people interested in theatrical pursuits, both on and off stage.

Our twice yearly shows normally comprise a mixture of sketches, recitations and music, infused with comedy and drama. Our audiences are enthusiastic and supportive, an encouragement to those would-be players who are shy of appearing in public.

Now into our second decade, we have raised thousands of pounds for worthwhile causes and had a really good time doing it!
